Fog of War - DVD cover

Custom cover for Errol Morris's documentary interview with former Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara. The art is composed chiefly of archival photos of the firebombing of Japan (Kobe on the front and Kure on the back). The Japanese text that meanders throughout is taken from the leaflets the American forces air-dropped on cities, warning the citizens to evacuate before the imminet destruction. The eyes on the back belong to a younger McNamara and demonstrate both his oversight and complicity (and perhaps even personal guilt) in the military actions depicted.
